The purpose of this blog is to explores the bizarre world of biology without getting all political and preachy. The creatures on this blog could be considered strange for a variety of reasons. They could have bizarre morphology, behave in
a weird way or just look weird. I will add a new bizarre creature to this blog every
day for as long as I can. If you have any creatures which you think should be
included, please send me an e-mail.
I provide Linnean classifications for all creatures on this blog, but bear in mind that some of these designations will be controversial or not universally excepted.
